“THE BIG BANDS ARE BACK” Join us this November 12th from 6:30-10:30pm for a dance-concert to benefit the American Big Band Preservation Society! Featuring the authentic 18-piece Big Band “Dan Gabel and The Abletones” with vocalists Amanda Carr and Rob Zappulla, the music of the 1930′s, 40′s, and 50′s comes alive with new vitality and energy. Held at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA., proceeds from this event will fund the ABBPS ‘in school’ programs that brings Big Band music to students, stimulating excitement and perpetuating this music for the next generation. Tables and general admission seating are available, plus a massive dance floor to get your feet moving! Ed Gardella, on-air host from WICN will be the MC of the event!!
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres included, Cash bar and Door Prizes. Raffle prize: A luxury weekend at the Liberty Hotel, Boston.
